About us
With an inconspicuous antique shop on Spalenberg, in the heart of Basel’s Old Town, Johann Wanner’s 50-year success story began. A small mouth-blown Christmas ball formed the foundation for today’s unrivaled range. The Johann Wanner Christmas House, now known throughout Basel, was created from a lovingly cultivated collection of foliage, which can still be found today on the Spalenberg and has to offer not only Christmas decorations.
Christmas fans from all over the world find unusual designs, traditional jewelery from the venerable glassblower workshops in Thuringia, northern Poland, Bohemia and the Czech Republic as well as typical swiss souvenirs.
For companies, shop windows, hotels, restaurants, etc., we offer competent consultations and individual Christmas decorations.
